No surprises as to who made the number one spot
If online shopping was an Olympic sport, Team Bazaar would be gold medallists. There’s not many things we love more than buying something online, excitedly (and somewhat impatiently) waiting for it arrive and then taking it home to try on and revel in our new excellent purchase(s…). So naturally our interest was piqued by a recent article on WWD that revealed the top 25 most visited fashion e-commerce sites across the world.
The site partnered with digital marketing company SEMrush to compile the data and whilst there are some sites in the list we haven’t heard of, there are a lot of familiar names that made the cut. Unsurprisingly, ASOS took out the number one spot, followed by H&M and then Macy’s. The full list is as follows:
- Asos.com
- Hm.com
- Macys.com
- Zara.com
- Wildberries.ru
- Forever21.com
- Jablong.com
- Gap.com
- Urbanoutfitters.com
- Zappos.com
- Myntra.com
- Uniqlo.com
- Lamoda.ru
- Victoriassecret.com
- Trendyol.com
- Dafiti.com.br
- Boohoo.com
- Zalando.de
- Mango.com
- Markafoni.com
- Bershka.com
- Next.co.uk
- Laredoute.fr
- Zozo.jp
- Vip.com
It’s surprising to note the lack of luxury e-comm retailers like Net-a-Porter, Matchesfashion.com and Farfetch on the list, with high-street retailers clearly dominating.
Also interesting to note is that the majority of the traffic to the sites was from within the USA, followed by Russia, Turkey and India.
