Say hello to 24 Sévres…

When fashion kingpin LVMH launches an e-commerce site, it doesn’t do so in a manner any less that bold — and very Parisian. Partnering with famed retailer Le Bon Marché and 68 high fashion brands to create a capsule collection of one-off pieces, the new site launches today with artfully shot imagery that goes beyond your expected white backgrounds — overseen by chief digital officer Ian Rogers. Among the one-offs are a new ballerina from Roger Vivier’s collaboration with Inès de La Fressage, a graphic take on the the Loewe ‘Hammock’ bag with hand-drawn work by Mathias Augustyniak and Michael Amzalag of M/M Paris, a Proenza Schouler and Keith Haring Studio partnership around the PS11 bag, Olympia Le Tan’s handbag version of the famed tome Paris de ma Jeunesse, as well as special editions by the likes of Miu Miu, Chloé and Givenchy. There are also impossible to find brands on e-commerce sites beyond their own like Vuitton and Dior — perhaps it’s because LVMH has some connections.

The limited-edition capsule collection pieces (some of which you can see in the gallery above) will be available exclusively on 24 Sèvres and in Le Bon Marché, at 24 rue de Sèvres in Paris — with further offerings to the tune of 150 brands in the beauty, ready-to-wear and accessories categories, shipping to 75 countries globally.
